Killaboi has confessed to the murder of his girlfriend Augusta Osedion after he was arrested by the EFCC for internet fraud.

Killaboi is a Nigerian social media influencer.

His Instagram profile portrays him as a blockchain developer and crypto enthusiast. He doesn’t have many posts, but the few he has show that he lives a luxurious lifestyle.

In one of his posts, he poses behind a private jet and comments that his lifestyle may lead people to believe he has a secret advantage.

In 2021, he got into trouble when he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for making a significant N150 million transaction through a point-of-sale (POS) machine using a stolen card had. He was released on bail.

In July 2023, however, things took a darker turn. Killaboi admitted to killing his girlfriend Augusta Osedion. He claimed they had an argument and accidentally stabbed her during the altercation.

After the incident, he fled, struggling with feelings of wanting to end his life.

Why did Killaboi kill his girlfriend? Update on the murder case

Killaboi, who is well known on social media, confessed that he accidentally stabbed his girlfriend during an argument.

He expressed his regret and said he would turn himself in to the police to face the consequences.

Her mother had searched for her after her disappearance and previously tried to help them reconcile.

In a series of updates to his Instagram Story, he also posted screenshots of a message he sent to the girl’s mother explaining that he had no intention of killing her.

Killaboi regretted what happened and shared emotional posts on Instastory about how his life was ruined at 26.

He vowed to ensure justice was done for his late girlfriend and admitted to running away out of fear after the incident. He also shared a message he sent to her mother.

According to witnesses, police entered the fence at Killaboi’s home and found his girlfriend’s body badly injured. There have been claims that some of her vital organs were missing. Her car was also found at the scene of the accident.

On the other hand aAccording to the Lagos Police Command, the mother of the deceased reported to the police that her daughter had an argument with her boyfriend on July 11.

The mother tried to reconcile the two but was unable to reach her on her phones or other platforms.

The mother led police to the boyfriend’s home in Oral Estate, Ikota, Ajah, where they found the girl’s Mercedes Benz C30 but were denied access to the home.

Who was Augusta Osedion?

Onuwabuagbe Augusta Osedion, also known as Austa, was a 21-year-old student at Lead University in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

In her Instagram bio, Austa describes herself as a socialite. Her Instagram account has 109,000 followers and many pictures show her as a fashion lover.

On Monday July 17, 2023, two years after his arrest, Killaboi shocked social media by confessing to killing his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.

According to the suitor, he “accidentally” stabbed his girlfriend during an argument.

Augusta was missing for several days until her mother visited Killaboi’s home in Oral Estate, Ikota, Lagos State to look for her.

Before Augusta went missing, her mother had tried to reconcile her with Killaboi over an unresolved issue.

In emotional Instastory posts, Killaboi expressed his deep regret at having ruined his life at 26. He promised to see justice done for his deceased girlfriend as he could not bear the burden of guilt.
